Menuboards were checked
for missing panels, damaged faces or frames, handwritten signs, exposed interior
lighting, decals or stickers on the face, and general cleanliness. Menuboards
were given an acceptable appearance score if they did not contain any of the
above-mentioned flaws. In the tables of this report, each chain is ranked based
on its percentage of acceptable menuboards.
The ranking
of menuboard appearance for all of the restaurant chains included in this year’s
study are found in the following chart. Checkers was this year’s
clear industry leader, with 100% of locations included in the study having
satisfactory menuboard appearance. Chick-Fil-A was next with 99.03%
satisfactory menuboards, followed closely by Del Taco with a 98.91% rating. Church’s Chicken had the most menuboard faults according to this year’s study,
as only 76.27% of locations included had satisfactory menuboards. |
